Tents For Party
Tents for party animals are a great addition to a child’s birthday party (or just a really cool Saturday!). They also can be used for hosting any outdoor gathering, from a family reunion to an art and wine festival for the local community.
There are several different kinds of party tents available (none of which are cheap), so it’s important to outline what you will be using them for. If you only see yourself using a large tent for an afternoon or two, it’s probably wise to consider renting one, rather than shelling out the money (not to mention garage space) to buy one.
A good place to start is the location of the event itself. You’ll want to survey your surroundings like a good scout, noting which direction the sun comes from, how much the wind picks up in the afternoon, and any other factors that may affect your decision. For example, if there is a nice breeze, but it gets pretty hot in direct sun, consider buying a tent that has a roof but no walls. Conversely, if the winds pick up to warrant Hurricane classification, you should consider a party tent that has three walls (sort of like an open barn). The main providers for tents are Hut Shops and Celina Party tents. Tents for party goers are certainly not cheap. Most providers make their living selling these tents to corporations and municipalities, due to their large numbers and budgets. If you want to set up a party tent for you and twenty of your friends, you may be better setting up a canopy. If you want something with a little more class, consider renting them from a reputable provider. |
