Unusual Travel Destinations
The Golden Gate Bridge, Sears Tower, Grand Canyon, blah, blah, blah… How about some off beaten path, unusual travel destinations? In this article, we'll take a look at the stranger side of the US:
Graceland. Home of the King himself, Elvis Presley. Here you can tour his estate and learn more about the history of rock and roll.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Thought Graceland was enough? Then don't go here. Otherwise, it's a blast!
Louisville. Arguably one of the most unusual travel destinations in the USA. Here you can find the biggest baseball in the world, and the Jack Daniels distillery is a day trip away (though it is in a dry county, which means you can't drink!)
Blue Earth Minnestota. Home of the Jolly Green Giant statue. Great for a picture, plus it's on the way to the next destination.
Spam museum. Located in Austin Minnesota, you can now learn all about the history of how spam came to be, take interactive quizzes on spam knowledge, and of course enjoy free spam!
Wall Drug. Located just outside Badlands National Park, what used to be a simple drug store has blown up to a full scale town loaded with shops, restaurants and Indian history. Make sure to take advantage of their hot breakfast buffet with five cent coffee!
The Mystery Spot. Just outside Santa Cruz, CA, this unusual travel destination defies the laws of physics. Don't ask me why, but objects appear on a slant (even when there even), gravity seems to hold no effect, and rooms don't appear as they should be.
The Circle Bar. One of New Orleans stangest bars, where a ukulele playing barmaid serves ice cold PBR just avoid the bathroom, it's straight out of the movie "Saw."
These are by far the most unusual travel destinations in the good ole USA. Explore at your peril.
