Stress Free Disney 7-Day Vacation
Leave the anxiety at home with this stress free Disney 7 day vacation planner...
Let’s face it: Disney may be the magic kingdom, but it sure ain’t stress free. So many of my clients have returned more frazzled than when they left, not to mention a whole lot lighter in the wallet.
For any family looking for an enjoyable, if not relaxing, trip to Disneyland , here’s my stress free Disney vacation planner:
Purchase flights that arrive the night before. Many families get gung ho and purchase a flight that lands in Anaheim around five in the morning, under the assumption they’ll be rollercoasting with the best of them around eleven that night. Sorry, but it just doesn’t work that way… You’ll be standing in long lines, often in the sun, surrounded by thousands of other people who are just as (if not more) grumpy than you are. My advice: arrive late the night before and get a good night’s rest.
Buy a package deal. This alone will save you more headaches than anything else. True, several package deals may run up the bill a bit, so if there’s only two of you going, you might be better off on your own. However, if you are one of the fortunate nuclear families with 2.3 children (give or take) then you would be a fool not to buy one.
The advantages are three fold: firstly, you get more added value (breakfast with Goofy, phone calls from Mickey, admission to other parks), secondly you save the hassle of booking everything yourself, and thirdly, you get more time to enjoy yourselves. It is possible to “do” Disneyland in a day, but if you’ve already paid for a three day package deal for the parks (with 7 days in the hotel) you and your children can take the afternoons off and leave the long lines in the high sun to the peasants.
Lastly, by purchasing a vacation package you can often get three nights free for every four nights booked. If saving several hundred dollars doesn’t make for a stress free Disney 7 day vacation, then I don’t know what is. |
