Be sure to arrive in Marmaris a few days early. There are many things to see and do in Marmaris, and you should take your time to enjoy them. I recommend checking out the Marmaris Castle (the town itself dates back to the sixth century, and the castle is a great way to glimpse into its glorious past). Alternatively, you can also enjoy the nightlife Marmaris offers, as well the great shopping.

En route to Fethiye you will spend a night in Gocek, home to one of the most beautiful natural harbors in the world. It is the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon by the beach, or walking through the charming small town of Gocek. In my travels I have seen far too many beautiful locations oversaturated by tourism (the islands of eastern Thailand and the shores of Waikiki, just to name a few) and it is refreshing not to count the Gocek Islands among them. Many people enjoy their stay here so much, that they organize a return trip following their cruise.

Fethiye itself is a wonderful city, and you will no doubt want to spend to a few extra days here as well to enjoy the wonderful scenerary. Remember, Marmaris to Fethiye Blue Cruises are well deserved their reputation as incredible sights equaled only by incredible service.
