Travel Agents In The United States
There are thousands of travel agents here in the US, and it can be difficult finding one with experience in your given field.
This is a list (in alphabetical order) of the most reputable travel agents in the U.S. and their expertise:
- Advanced Car Research
- African Safaris
- Africa Horizons
- Alaska Travel: cruises and ground transportation specialists.
- Allcheapfares.com
- All Inclusive Now: focuses mainly on Mexico and Caribean travel.
- All-Travel.com – Great for Hawaiian trips.
- American Express- At one time (if not now) the largest travel agency in the world.
- Amsalem Business Travel- Leading expert in Israeli business travel.
- Apple-Experts.com – Special fares to Mexico, Caribbean, Bahamas, Costa Rica, and Hawaii.
- Book Your Golf.net - Offers golf packages and tee times for Dubai, Spain, Portugal, Thailand, Turkey, Mauritius and more.
- BransonShows.com- Niche service that caters to folks interested in theatre (or concerts).
- Bulldogtravel.com – This agency has access to special Travel Saver rates, which can slash your travel costs.
- Casto: A very large, professional travel agency that caters to executives and corporate travel.
- Churchill Safaris Uganda – Full service treks that may include gorillas! Definitely on my “things to do before I die” list.
- Cruise Vacation Travel – This is one of the best agencies around for cruises; all consultants are certified in the cruise industry, with online booking as an option. Which is nice…
- East-Site Central Asia Travel – Most famous for their Silk Road tours.
- EHotelsSearch.com – Better than hotels.com in my opinion. As a matter of fact, most travel agencies already access hotels.com, so it doesn’t pay to compare the two.
- i4Vegas.com Vegas can be seen for pennies or fortunes; use this site to get the low down on what’s hot now.
- Kosher Expeditions – Highly respected niche market.
- Patterson Travel- Very respectable, geared toward asia/africa
- Saizans Travel – Luxury, all-inclusive travel arrangements.
- Shorts- Corporate travel made easy…
- STA Travel- If you are under 26 years old and want to travel on the cheap, STA is the place to go.
- Swanton British Travel – They offer highly customized itineraries (which, as a former tour operator I can appreciate!)
- Tripology.com. Similar to Kayak, but smaller and managed in house.
- Trips 2 Italy – Pretty self-explanatory…they provide knowledgeable guides, and
- Vacation Safaris - With over 30 destinations and deals on vacation, Vacation Safaris is offering vacation packages for travel to popular vacation destination worldwide.
- Volunteer Vacations Hawaii – Want save green? Go green with this conservation based travel group.
- Windward Islands-Want to cruise around islands on a yacht? These are your guys.
- Worldwide Villas – Definitely worth looking at if you’re interested in traveling slow; great discounts on really nice villas around the world.
