Last Minute Las Vegas Hotel Deals
What are some of the best ways to score last minute las vegas hotel deals? I’ll show you some of the tips and tricks I have used in the past to secure rock bottom prices in the City of Sin, as well several ways to see Las Vegas without breaking the bank. Let’s roll up our sleeves, don some cheesy sunglasses and get going!
Firstly, grab the coupon guide offered on the Strip. As you walk down the boulevard, keep an eye out for coupon books; they’re enclosed in the metal boxes that newspapers are. I know, coupons aren’t exactly the “money” way to see the sights, but the savings are definitely worth it. After skimming through one for five minutes, I was able to get a full body massage for half off, free appetizers at Nine Fine Irishmen, and 20% off my hotel stay.
If you really want a great hotel deal, and are willing to put in the work for it, consider signing up for one of those timeshare presentations; just make damn sure you aren’t going to buy one! Generally, you listen to their sales pitch for roughly an hour or two, say no, and they give a free hotel stay in one of the biggest names on the strip, plus dinner for two and a show! Definitely one of the best deals in Las Vegas…
Try and stick to one hotel/casino. The theory behind this is that if you hit a hot streak (or a few) you want the floor manager to notice and comp you. If you bounce from casino to casino no one will notice what you’re up to.
If you’re looking for deals prior to arriving in Las Vegas, I highly recommend www.Kayak.com. This site is great hotels, and allows you to search at the last minute. Also, check out the hotel sites themselves for their last minute deals. Make sure you call the hotel directly (not their 800 number) and attempt to secure a discount. It also helps to call later in the day, so you can speak with the front desk when they’re not busy (and their manager isn’t around).
If you follow this advice, you will have no problems securing the best last minute las vegas hotels deals, and enjoy great dining and shows at a reduced cost. |
